IAH’s partnerships, built up over many years, enhance our effectiveness by combining our efforts. These are agreements with international organisations in earth and water science, education and development that help to both deepen and widen our reach. We continue to look for more and better ways of developing both our existing relationships and forging new alliances. As well as our formal partnerships there are also many organisations that IAH collaborates with on a regular basis to help meet our scientific, educational and development objectives. This year we signed a new memorandum of understanding with IWRA (International Water Resources Association), which has as its aims ‘improved understanding and knowledge sharing, as well as wise use and protection of water resources, including groundwater, with a particular focus on the interface between science and policy’.
