IAH launched a new ‘Technical Insight Series’, aimed at IAH members and other groundwater specialists, covering topical hydrogeological issues. The first paper, written by IAH’s Groundwater Quality Commission, deals with ‘PFAS – Groundwater’s Dark Matter’.

IAH Spanish National Chapter published a detailed Guide: “Guide for good practices for the design, construction, sealing and closure of groundwater wells”. It aims to help all parties involved in well construction in meeting requirements for quality, durability and cost-effectiveness. It advises on avoiding contamination of aquifers via the well, and safe abandonment, including to protect life.
